ORCHARD CLEARING CONTINUES...
Yesterday I went up the orchard hill to prepare one double trunk oak for collection in some 2 months.
According to Harry Harrington oak is unlike other deciduoes species and better results are achieved by digging oak yamadori AFTER all of the leaves are out (details on Bonsai4me.com).
But while walking up the hill I heard noise and have seen tracks of some large vehicle.
My guess was correct - clearing off of the orchard continues.
To my horror I found out that just a few meters away from where the potential yamadori oak is situated just by the field road, they have chosen a spot where they put all the cutted trees and branches.
I therefore hurried back home to get my gear and started the work of collecting the tree that was untouched yet, but might have been dead by next day.
